LdB FC Malmö played host to Tyresö FF in a thrilling encounter in the Women's Premier League. Malmö started the match as favorites with a lead at the top of the table, but Tyresö were quick to show their intent.

Madelaine Edlund opened the scoring for Tyresö in the 8th minute, taking advantage of a fine assist from Kirsten van de Ven. But Malmö came back quickly with a Caroline Seger goal in the 13th minute. The assist from Gabriella Melis was perfectly executed, leading to a fantastic team goal.

However, Tyresö were soon back in the lead, thanks to a penalty scored by Kirsten van de Ven in the 26th minute. A quick goal from Josefine Öqvist a minute later saw Tyresö extend their lead to 3-1.

Malmö tried to come back in the game, but conceded a fourth yellow card for the day in the second half. Things went from bad to worse for them with Gabriella Maria Melis receiving the second yellow card for an unfortunate handball. The Malmö team was down to 10 players.

But, they fought back fiercely and Malmö's Sara Björk Gunnarsdottir scored a goal in the 59th minute, assisted by Caroline Seger. A self-goal by Tyresö's defense saw the game level at 3-3 in the 62nd minute, setting the stage for a thrilling finish.

The game continued to be end-to-end with both teams creating chances, but it was Tyresö who struck next. Katrin Schmidt scored a goal, assisted by Kirsten van de Ven in the 63rd minute. Malmö's Gabriella Maria Melis received her second yellow card, leaving Malmö with just nine players.

Tyresö continued to pile on the pressure and it was no surprise when Katrin Schmidt scored her second goal in injury time, assisted by Emilia Brodin. The final score was 5-3 in favor of Tyresö.

The 1084 fans at the Malmö IP were treated to a fantastic match, with both teams displaying some fine attacking play. The result sees Tyresö move into second place in the table, just behind LdB FC Malmö.
