Alnö IF started the game on an attacking note and in the 9th minute, William Svelander hit the back of the net to score the opening goal. In the 15th minute, Jesper Andersson doubled the lead for Alnö IF by scoring the second goal. Alnö IF was relentless and in the 27th minute, William Svelander scored his second goal of the match to make it 3-0.

Friska Viljor-akademi FC was struggling to gain control of the game and just before the half-time whistle, William Svelander completed his hat-trick to give Alnö IF a comfortable 4-0 lead.

At the start of the second half, Friska Viljor-akademi FC made a substitution and brought in Elias Wimar to replace Nasir Ahmed Mohammed. Alnö IF also made two substitutions, bringing in Bleart Ugzmajli and Alex Tomley to replace Edvin Blom and Innocent Manzi respectively.

In the 65th minute, Friska Viljor-akademi FC finally managed to score a goal through Youel Seum Tsegai. However, Alnö IF responded quickly and in the 76th minute, Alex Tomley scored the fifth goal for Alnö IF.

Friska Viljor-akademi FC made three substitutions in the 80th minute, bringing in Felix Johannsson, Khader Mohamad Hassan, and Leo Howcroft to replace Albin Häggström, Hannes Wikström, and Ragnar Yngvesson respectively. Alnö IF also made a substitution and brought in Kim Tomley to replace Haris Hadzic.

In the 85th minute, Felix Johannsson scored a goal for Friska Viljor-akademi FC which was followed by another goal from Johannsson in the 89th minute. However, it was too little too late for Friska Viljor-akademi FC as Alnö IF held onto their lead and won the match 5-3. Svelander's hat-trick was the highlight of the game, as Alnö IF secured an important victory in Division 3 Mellersta Norrland.
