Höörs IS came into the match against VMA IK with a strong start, as Jens Sloth scored a penalty in the 16th minute to put them ahead 1-0. The first half continued in their favor, with goals from Nichlas Schön and Joakim Karlsson extending their lead to 3-0 before halftime.
VMA IK tried to regroup in the second half, making a substitution bringing on Jimmy Rossander for Sandro Nalic. However, it was still all about Höörs IS as Joakim Karlsson scored his second goal of the match in the 56th minute, followed by Linus Edvinsson adding a fifth goal for the visitors.
Despite the deficit, VMA IK managed to get on the scoresheet with a goal from Philip Sandgren in the 68th minute. They made another substitution, bringing on Eric Ek for Mattias Kardum in an attempt to spark a comeback.
However, it was too little too late as Höörs IS continued to dominate. The match ended with a final score of 5-2 in favor of Höörs IS, with Philip Sandgren scoring a consolation goal for VMA IK in injury time.
